People and their stories make us understand the world. In film and in training. In New York or on our doorstep in the Bergisches Land, Bavaria or Berlin, in Bhutan, Ghana, Australia or Estonia.
As a journalist, I have told the stories of many people in 47 countries by now, awarded, among others, the journalism prizes „Green Vision“ (2010) and „pro Ehrenamt“ (2014). I have argued about communication with Buddhist monks in Nepal, Ghanaian midwives have taught me a lesson about prejudice, and a forgotten suitcase on a train has made me understand how constructive solutions are found.
As a certified trainer (DVWO and BAMIK), I coach business storytelling, intercultural communication and boot camps on sustainability and constructive critical journalism. In the area of human resources development, I lead manager training courses.
My toolbox consists of classic journalistic skills, such as thorough research, interview techniques and storytelling. From the field of Human Resources Development I use techniques of team building, feedback and personality analysis, from corporate management agile methods that proactively make change possible.
